With 95 Swiss Escomatic and computer numerically controlled (CNC) Screw Machines in a U.S.-based, 35,000-square-foot facility, we are uniquely positioned to manage projects for a wide range of applications. With lights-out manufacturing and ma- chines running constantly, we’re able to fulfill orders quickly and cost-efficiently, regardless of part size, complexity or tolerance. In fact, we’ve been producing some parts continuously for more than 30 years, and some machines have been manufacturing the same part nonstop for more than 15 years. Our equipment allows us to manufacture highly complex parts using a single machine while ensuring accuracy to 60 millionths of an inch. Because of our commitment to machine maintenance and cleanliness, our machines consistently create exceptional precision parts, day after day, year after year.
In 2008, we installed the first three Escomatic D2-CNC machines in the U.S. These machines combine the productivity of a cam machine with the flexibility and quick setup times of a CNC machine.
We operate state-of-the-art Deco 2000 computer numerically con- trolled (CNC) Swiss screw machines that optimize speed, productivity, flexibility, and precision.
At Podmore Manufacturing, we are capable of producing more than 140 million micro precision parts per year for customers in aerospace, electronics, automotive, medical, and other industries. Parts are manufactured from a wide range of materials, such as steel, brass, beryllium, copper, aluminum and hafnium.
